patriotic smore's cups

Using my cricut expression, independence day cartidge, vinyl, and some creativity....I came up with some party favors for our family 4th of July fun!

I took the graham crackers and packaged them and large puff marshmallows in a snack size zippie bag.

Then I made a large image and put onto a cheap gift bag to use as my tote to transport.

I had such a fun time making these.  Happy 4th of July USA!!!!

wood

The heat finally subsided enough to go on a walk tonight.  I'm in a neighborhood where they are still building homes.  While walking we came across some awesome scrap wood that was thrown away!  This is free gold!  I am so excited to get some crafts planned out with this wood.  I have lots of blogs that I love to give me a good start :)

Old project, but new to blog!

I did this project quite awhile ago, so I do not have a tutorial.  Looking at this now, there are some things that I would like to change it up a bit, but have so many projects ahead of this one!  But still wanted to show off a little something!

The following link will lead you to this fabulous blog where I copied the vinyl toe project :)  I have a cricut expression and some vinyl, so I figured I would give this project a go!  I think it turned out cute and can't wait to do more!

Go to craft-o-maniac's blog and submit your cricut toes :)  She will do a post later on to show off the cricut toes!

4th of July

We love the 4th of July! Here is a recent craft I did using my cricut expression and vinyl.  I have many more crafts that I'm rolling out soon that has to do with the 4th of July and can not wait to show how they turned out!

I took 3 wine bottles that I have in my glass reserves box and came up with this craft.  I put the vinyl on the outside and stuffed lights on the inside.  It is so pretty at night!

As I get more stuff up and going, I'll start joining link parties :)  I would be so embarassed showing off my upcoming blog with 4 measly posts!!!

Looking forward to jumping into the crafting blog world!

What's going on outside!

I have finally taken some pictures of our outdoor flower beds and garden.  I have no idea where May went, and we are almost half way through June!  Not much going on around the house.  We are trying to finish painting the deck, and putting a door from the master bedroom onto the deck, and decorating our new space!  The weather is super hot here already, so hopefully there will be some beach trips soon!

Sorry, I didn't get this one turned around :)

We have had this bush for 3 years and this is the first year we have had blueberries.  Little man LOVES blueberries!

Once we get the pond cleaned up we will get some goldfish in there.  There are about 9 snails right now, but not enough to keep the pond clean.

Part of the front of the house.

We have an hourglass shaped driveway, so we took that opportunity to do a cute flowerbed on each side of the driveway.  These have been here for 2 years, but we just added the rock to it.

Hopefully everyone is enjoying their summer!

Holy Rocks Batman!

The last 2 weeks we have been up to our eye's in rock! Literally :)  We finally got around to getting rock delivered and placed in our front beds.  Other then rock, we haven't had a lot of time for much else.

Let the pile begin.

He conquered the pile!!

I just remembered that I haven't taken pictures of the finished beds.  I'll do that this week and post the pictures.  Hope all the mom's enjoyed their mothers day today!  I know I sure did. My boys were so great to me today!
