Whew!!! What a week we've had. It started off with Drew having the stomach bug and it getting passed to each and every one of us.  Doing much better now, and hopefully no other bugs for awhile.  This weekend David's parents came down to watch Andrew for us while we went out and celebrated our anniversary (6 years!).  Saturday morning we enjoyed going to an event that was in our community "Strawberry Festival".  Below are some pictures of us having a great time!  That afternoon David and I snuck away and had massages followed up by a really nice dinner at our anniversary location- "The Angus Barn".  I know the name sounds crazy but they have the most amazing steaks (if you like that sort of thing) in our area.  Here's hoping to a bug free week!

Recommiting

I started a family blog a year or so ago and just couldn't keep up with it.  As time has passed and my son is getting older, I have that urge again to journal about "living the life--spencer style!".  After recently returning from a trip back from Missouri, it has occured to me that if you aren't on facebook, you don't get to see the in's and out's of our lives.  I know my family misses out on so much of my little family of 3, that I am recommiting myself to make this blog work.  We are just your average family (after a very rough start into parenthood!) trying to have fun along the way.  I hope you enjoy following us as much as I enjoy having you in our life.  Let the good times roll!!!
